Competition is a major and fun part of the barbershop world that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. We come together in a spirit of lighthearted contest, to see who's really got top form. We root for each other, cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party into the night!
Every Spring in March or April AHH! Chorus makes the trip over the hill to Bakersfield, CA to compete in our Regional Competition. Dozens of choruses and quartets come together to sing and compete for top honors. There are 4 different judging categories: Sound, Music, Expression & Showmanship.

Every fall the Sweet Adeline Regional contest winners gather to compete at an International competition. This is the ultimate female barbershop competition -- not to be missed! Competitors come from around the globe, including Canada, Sweden, Australia, England and New Zealand for a chance to place or win the International competition and improve our art-form. In 2012, International competition will be held in Denver, CO.
