The AHH! Chorus of Sweet Adelines International; one of the world's largest singing organizations for women, is dedicated to the creation of harmony and the enrichment of the lives of its members through friendship, education, community involvement and musical excellence in the performance of the barbershop art form. If you haven't experienced barbershop music in a while, you will be very surprised at what you hear!
Sharing their love of music with nearly 25,000 women singers in over 600 choruses worldwide. The women who make up the
AHH! Chorus have discovered a hobby that allows them to share their passion for singing and performing in this uniquely American style of music for the thrill of ringing chords that weave
harmony into lives and into the world around us. The joy, excitement and camaraderie of this hobby is contagious!
AHH! Chorus has long been known for its rich sound and obvious joy in performing. AHH! Chorus members present the emotion, love and laughter in each song they perform, be it jazz, oldies, patriotic, standards, religious, holiday or your favorite Broadway Show tunes.
AHH! Chorus members come together to sing from diverse geographical locations (Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Oak Park, Calabasas, San Fernando Valley, and Agoura Hills), all walks of life and age brackets to share a common love for singing and each other!
